FIRST – 50 POPULAR HYMNS LEARNT BY “THE SOLO HYMNER”

The attached diagram signifies the (Alphabetical order) of the First - 50 Popular hymns learnt by "The Solo Hymner" when planning to pioneer the course of the "Solo Hymner Concept".  In order to champion the course of this hymn concept, "The Solo Hymner" set target to learn and sing first (50) popular hymns with at least “3 Verses” and at most “5 Verses” without reference to a hymn book.  And thereby being able to sing hymns for at least “30 Minutes" non stop; So that he can then parade himself as a Solo hymner.

In achieving this target, he embarked on the following actions:       

(I) Getting Hymn Books (English Version) : Methodist, Presbyterian, Apostolic, Catholic etc.
(ii) Getting Audio CD's on hymns : Both Local and Foreign Christian hymns Music albums etc.
(ii) Getting Video CD's on hymns : Both Local and Foreign Christian hymns Video albums etc.
(iv) Downloading hymn lyrics from the internet : Microsoft Word, Pdf's, and other file formats
(vi) Writing hymns "Verse by Verse" on a slice A4 Sheet for learning by rote and rehearsals.

With determination and hard work he was able to achieve the said target within ten (10) months, and can really parade himself as a "Solo Hymner". The average "Hymn Lyric Performance Accuracy" (HLPA) was ranging from (90% - 100%) wisely. For consistency sake, he normally embarks on major review of rehearsing most hymns every fortnight in order to update and upgrade status. 

Most of the public Hymns performances of "The Solo Hymner" will be selected from these popular Hymns wisely.

    "The Solo Hymner" - Sings or performs 3 to 5 Verses of Popular Hymns (mostly used for various occasions) for more than 30 minutes non stop without reference to a hymn book.

SOLO HYMNER CONCEPT : Four (4) Levels of "Solo Hymner"

There are four (4 ) main levels that was observed by the conceiver of the “Solo Hymner” concept when going through the process to reach a tried and tested stage. The levels are as follows: (i)  Verse One Level (ii) Miming Level (iii) Verse Title Level and (iv) Performance Level   accordingly. 1. SOLO HYMNER (SH) :  is a person who dedicates himself or herself to learn and  sing or perform 3 to 5 verses of popular hymns (mostly used for various occasions such as Church Services, Funeral Services, Wedding Ceremonies, Naming Ceremonies, Anniversaries, Other Celebrations etc.) without reference to a hymn book, It is opened to anyone who wants to dedicate himself or herself to pursue this course. Though it is a difficult task, with determination and hard work it can be achieve successfully. In general any Solo Hymner should be able to sing 3 to 5 Verses of popular hymns, non stop for at least 30 minutes without reference to a hymn book.
